I'd want the silver ones on a duo sonic

I can see the settings better on the black ones.

That said, I'd still go silver.

I prefer the black on those pedals, the metal ones take too much of the spotlight away from the artwork. :thumb:

are the silver ones metal or metal-like plastic?

They're metal. Aluminum, knurled and swirled! ;) About 2mm-thick aluminum with a brass center (and brass set screw) surrounded by thick plastic. Basically, they're clones of vintage stereo knobs. They're about 3x what normal knobs cost, but imo they're worth it.

wonderful to have knobtions!

suppose i would have black ones on anything with more than one knob. not because they are black, but because of the lines. a nearly full line on the radius of a knob seems to help my brain with a faster, more accurate read. visually on the blacks, a single adjustment creates two sides of an angle, vertex at the centerpoint of the knob.

with the silvers, a reference point near the arc of the knob makes visuallization tougher during adjustment because it just moves along the arc from point A to point B. i reckon it's easier for me to visualize and understand relative changes in angles rather than arcs as an analogy to changes in effect. see that? :wha?:

I prefer the silver knobs on the large pedals, black ones on the smaller.
