I just spent the last hour jamming with the guy I got it from. This pedal can be super subtle and is very tasteful. It doesn't obscure your guitar sound like the Small Stone I just repaired for someone. I like it!

Woah, nice. Where'd you manage to find one of those?

Craigslist! Once in a while there's something good there.

This thing is great! It's mellow enough to play with dirt without overtaking the guitar, but it's present enough to be noticed. I did a little Googling and it's a close relative of the Phase 45, which explains why it sounds a little like my Phase 90 but not as SWOOOSH swoooosh SWOOOSH swoooosh, etc.
I just discovered a trim pot inside, too. It's for bias and is currently set at 53k. I figured I'd better record that value before I go screwing around with it...

That era of DOD phasers are the best ever. I have that one and the 490. In comparison to the nano stone, I found the nano stone had a substantial treble boost. The 201 has started me down modulation road...and into space.

I've got one of the later blue & white re-issues. I love the thing, it is perfect for adding just the tiniest bit of shimmer, but up until about 12 o'clock I find it almost unnoticeable, add to that the lack of led and it makes it a little tricky to get used to.
