My band is looking to play video footage to accompany our live show. Anyone have any experience with this as far as logistics/equipment? We play to a click and use some backing sounds (sort of Nine Inch Nails like), is there some sort of easy setup to be able to do them all together? If not, what's the best way for video? We have a small projecter available.

Projector is the way to go.
I believe you can run videos as well as music in Ableton Live.

we've been using a projector...The worst part about it is finding a safe place to set it up at clubs. get yourself a nice long extension cord..
Here is a video of what our projections look like. I just edit stuff together and make a dvd and project it. I stopped trying to sync stuff to the music because the set lists kept changing and it became a major hassle.
