Just sent the money for a trogotronic Model 86. Saw Geronimo earlier in the fall and reserved one. First of all, the fact that a band is touring and part of their merch is a pedal they made - WHAT? Now I've not played it or really even sure what it does, but I know what his other stuff does and there's no way it'll be disappointing. Look at it!

Anyone play any of his other stuff?

You should make a demo. There is one video demo of the Iron Cross, but I'm curious of the 666. He doesn't really have anything but sound clips, which sound awesome...but video would help!

i would make a video but i dont have a video camera :(

i usually use the 666 with different sound sources or on its own with no input. it sounds crazy on guitar, but i dont like to use it as a "set and forget settings" type of pedal. the unit really shines when you tweak the knobs.

Yeah, most of the stuff seems as such. Regardless I still asked him to turn the 86 into a pedal. I'll probably end up just putting it on the amp. Did it come with instructions? 11 knobs at once would be overwhelming.

the 666 came with a diagram, pretty much like the picture in the first post, of the knob and switch layout. stuff is labeled: "preamp 1 & 2 electron patch" ""preamp 1 & 2 electron port" "overdrive shift" "power and threshold selector" and what-not like that. who really knows what most if it means

I'm considering putting it on the list.

Ten days 'til I get my pedal! He's working on new Bastard Noise!

Trogotronic is awesome, WT knows his shit. I had a 665 for a spell, made a few noise tracks with it, but then it stopped liking me so I could no longer get it to do it's thang with me at the helm. Therefore, I traded it for a Beavis FKR which was great, but after several gigs/jams of feedback induced awesome, I sold that for $$$$ which I likely spent on something less worthy, especially as compared to anything by Trogotronic.

I would like to get a 666 some day. Just for the number.

Yeah, I'm so curious as to why none of his stuff has a lot of reviews or demos or anything throughout users. People definitely get them. Personally, if I have something that is sonically stimulating in some new way, I must share it.

Probably because they are fucking scary and physically put a stop to any sort of press that might exist against their favour. I wasn't joking when I said "it stopped liking me" because they truly are sentient beasts that choose their own path in life.

Anywho, here's the two noise tracks I made last year:

The Wold and The Whale - Eradication XXII - two tracks of the 665 and nothing else
The Wold and The Whale - Reclamation XXIII - one 665 track and a buttload of other things

Hey thanks. I really need to restore some Trogotronic into my life. We made beautiful music together. Beautiful, ugly, disgusting music.
