Just a shot in the dark
Is there a clone/more modern version of this phaser? I love the sound, but would like true bypass and a smaller box. Its a beast!
If there isn't, I might just have to troll the DIY section and run with it.

Hmm here's the schematic
http://www.univox.org/pics/schematics/phz.gif not too complicated, could be simplified down to make it smaller and simpler by using the dual 1458 chips.
Can't think of anything off hand that's a straight out clone of it though...

Thanks for the link! I'm reading up on circuits, etc and that'll be a good goal for me. Besides shrinking the footprint, I think I can simplify the circuit easily - there's an on/off toggle for power AND the effect along with an input jack for a footswitch, all taking up real estate. Unless someone can think of a clone, I'll pull this over to the DIY section.

Yeah you could quite easily re-wire it so the input jack works as the on and off and then just the footswitch to turn it on or off... if I can find a sound sample and it seems worth it I may consider building one up.
I'd suggest moving it to DIY though, it's a fairly generic phaser in itself but I don't think it's been cloned specifically.
