It's a showdown!!!
Want a fat single coil-ey sound. Have a budget of $900
and we're assuming that the casino and les paul have bigsbys.
As you know, I love fuzz. Use a lot of chorus, reverb, and delay too.

I said the JM because mine is teh buttsehks. If you hunt around you can get an AVRI for $900 or less. Though a Casino is intriguing...

Casino is good fun, but the JM is badass.

There's a reason it's the jazz MASTER and not the Jazz mildly effective.

Haha, I have all three of these guitars and I'd say Jazz is my favorite. You gotta watch out though, all three, though they have that p90 sound, have totally different tonal qualities. You'd be surprised how much growl you can get out of the Casino. The casino is super dark too while the Jazzmaster can get super bright. The Paul is right in the middle on the tonal scale. Also, be careful if you are using a lot of gain/fuzz with the Casino because the feedback can get out of the control. If you aren't right on top of muting your strings they can get away from you, just vibrating from the hollowbody's resonance.

also, as much as I LOVE my JM, they are high maintenance guitars...good to keep in mind. Once you get it set up properly and know how to make sure it plays great there's no going back.

+1
When I first got it, I got it set up and had to tweak and tweak and tweak to get the action right. You have to make sure you keep the bridge and nut lubricated so the trem slides nice. Little WD-40 at the bridge and some graphite at the nut will keep the strings sliding across.

I agree with all of the above and say you can't go wrong with any of those. I don't own a Casino but I have an AVRI JM and an Epi LP with Lindy Fralin P90s and bigsby. Both great guitars but as Communarchy said, they are very different tonally as well as feel. JM can get very bright with a lot of chime and LP a bit darker but loves fuzz. While the JM does have it's maintenance issues so does my Epi LP, mostly due to the Bigsby, they're notorious for going out of tune. Love em both but gotta put the JM on top, just fits me better.

This is why I said the Casino is intriguing.
