If we are talking about "getting" other builders on here there are a lot of other builders I rather hear from then Fran. I have nothing against Fran but Fran's pedals don't excite me at all. Now if Fran really wanted to be part of this forum I would welcome it %100, if it was that Fran wanted to be part of the community and not just to use it as a advertising stratagem.

Personally, I'd rather see new forum-ed builders coming up through the ILF ranks - Newark Wilder, Scruffie and Rockness Monster all spring to mind. I think that BigChiefBC has been talking about starting building, too. There's plenty of good stuff right here - let's not bring outsiders in, let's focus our fuzz love inward and help some local folks build their biz!

this is an interesting concept, a thread for fans of the builder at ILF but build their own stuff.... but let's remember that we are here because of the Dwarfcraft, Dr. Scientist, Fuzzhugger etc. love and if we attempt to open up the ILF universe to other bigger builders we can lose the connect with our homebase....

I do get the sarcasm of the thread subject now that i know who he's talking about.... but ILF lives because of the great stuff built by smaller builders, perhaps monsterpiece or someone like that...

although i will vouch for Rockness Monster (again) his triangle muff has found a place on my board and i think it's staying there...

and I'm feeling quite strongly that ZVex is only making an appearance here to promote his latest opus and until he establishes himself beyond the simple marketing and self promotion he's shown us here, I think the doors should remain closed..... for now....

Sorry, but stanimal is right. Vex is only here to defend his pedal and drum up discussion about it online. Do you see him posting anything in the General Discussion? Anything not related to him and his pedals? Which is fine with me. It's just a little too soon to start talking about him like he's a contributing member of ILF.

I like the idea of having some up and coming ILF member forums too... there's some awesome pedals being made or soon to be being made around these parts and I'd like more info on them and a place to chat with the guys making them, if they wanted.
