Has anybody tried this thing yet? More specifically, has anyone tried it with an expression pedal? This could be awesome, if you could sweep it just like a wah...

I haven't used the expression pedal, but the thing is easily one of the funkiest, tastiest filters I've ever heard. If you get a chance, check it out.

The Riddle seems pretty similar to the Micro Q-Tron, Q-Tron, and the Q-Tron Plus (along the same lines anyway). My next pedal is gonna be an envelope filter pedal. I've been looking at the Micro Q-Tron but the Riddle looks impressive!

I was looking at a Riddle for a while, but I think I'm gonna go with the WMD Super Fat Man.

i alwayz wondered what the difference b/w all of them were. i am tentatively looking at low-pass filter pedals. i just need something cheap & basic.

The Micro Q-Tron is only around $83 bucks and it has a low-pass filter so that might fit your needs.

Just more envelope controls, for the most part.

It sounds like the dude is using an expression pedal but it's hard to be certain.

Upon further inspection, he definitely is not using an expression pedal as there is nothing plugged into th exp jack.
