We should start a movement. It really pisses me off when people complain about guitars not being tuned properly during demos.

:picard:

detuned guitars sound better anyway IMO. anyone that complains about an out-of-tune guitar is a total choad & needs to be ignored.

i like you smile_man. yr movements. & your coalition building. a rebel. born leader. you'd make a great politician; nonetheless, i think it is important to take a stand for what you believe in: i think that is an admirable quality. i respect that...

i'm confused...i very seldom watch demos so i have no clue what the standard bitch is among knuckleheads.
do you mean out of tune guitars sound better than one in tune?
. . . or . .
is your complaint that people bitch about it not being tuned to A 440?

Ok, on gear demos I suppose it doesn't matter. You're listening to the pedal not the player :joy:

Though it can ruin a live performance, even if just a bit outta tune. :erm:

I don't even own a tuner. I just tune to my DS-10 synth or fruity loops every few months. :erm:

You should never tune, and forget all your theory work. Then your band could be the new half japanese!

Hmmm...I just hate the way so many people do demos tuned to E(a little flat) A(a little sharp) D(kinda in the ballpark) G(no fucking way WTF was that?) B(but slipping out of tune with every bend ending up somewhere around Aflatish by the end) E(dead with fret rattle).
If you're going to do demos, tune up first maybe?

well, kiddies, tuning is what it's called when you take a shotgun to your own face.
All the cool kids are doing it, so if you're guitar is out of tune and you're about to make a demo vid... grab that shotgun!!!!

I tune my strings in a whole bunch of weird ways anyway, by ear, with no theory knowledge. I dont know what I'm doing just as long as my ears like it.
