a little while back i traded a Soda Meiser (Star graphic with chaos switch) for a Deluxe Memory Man (pretty sweet deal, so how could I resist)
but i kind of missed the SM.

so I was really happy to see the dude selling it on craigslist this morning.
it's mine again.
never gonna let you go!

guess i paid 60$ for a DMM

great story. glad that situation worked out. honestly. i don't have teh ballz to do it: either selling or trading. i got rid of two reel-to-reels that i got for free a couple of years ago: got rid of them becuz they were taking up too much space in my room & i was trying to make space/get rid of some clutter, and although it was well-intentioned, now i really regret having done that; and so now, unless i find another at a thrift-store or a garage sale, i'll be lucky if i can come across another half-way decent one for less-than-sixtydollars. most i've seen start at a hundo.

most stuff i have is crap anyway so trading-off stuff is not really an option for me. this is a great thred though...

:joy:

I sold my Interstellar Overdriver Supreme early last summer. :picard: I had my reasons for selling but I realized it was impulsive. :wha?: Saw one up for trade on the gear page and arranged a trade of my Fulton Webb Textosterone + Cash for the IOS. :thumb: Happy to have one again even if it isn't the same one I had the first time around. :bob:

Pedals that I have regretted selling and will definitely obtain again: none.

Pedals I have regretted selling that I will not obtain again: 8 Knob Menatone Top Boost in a Can.

yeah that is kind of what i was hoping for. either trolling thrift-stores or being craigslist-patient. i recently saw a Sony one for $60 but the ad claimed it had (probable) speed issues. it just kind of eats at me that i did not keep the ones i had before & just put them in the garage or under the house. i still kept the tape though.

actually. depending what which type of r2r it was. i definitely would trade a pedal or another piece of gear for a r2r & i wouldn't even think twice about the trade.

:)
