Short clip for you noise/feedback fans

While rearranging my pedalboard, my bass started feeding back, and I just decided to turn on all of my pedals, and it made this complete holy hell of noise that I thought was pretty damned cool.

No ILF love on this one because the board is for playing relatively normal-sounding, boring covers. My ILF-equipped board kicks waayyy to much ass for this gig.

If you're not into it, it's all cool mang. :idk:

Noice! I'd say loop your favorite parts and turn it into the beginning of a Seismic Feedback tune!

LOve it! :omg: This is usually the point when my gf goes in the other room and shuts the door on me.

 I wish I had kept recording for another minute or so, because my drummer walked in with a funny look on his face. Definitely not his musical style

The problem is that I won't have access to my full rig again before New Years, so I'll miss the cutoff. But I'll definitely contribute to the next one. :thumb:

One day they will all learn to embrace the noise.... one day. :excellent:

Hot shit.

a bit "spacey" for me (I like harsh/cut-up stuff, though!), but coo'.

and I am also intrigued by this TBNC thing.... WHAT IT IS?!

The Board Noise Contest? That's what I make of those letters.

Nice drones, but, too many toms...

Talkbass Noise Collaboration. It's an album they're putting together of experimental/noise music played entirely on bass + pedals. It's gonna be freaking awesome, but I haven't had a chance to put in my entry because I've been getting ready for this covers gig we have going on next month, learning a 35-song set list and getting all of my effects ready (order + settings). They've already said they're going to do a Volume II, which I will definitely contribute to.
