The only thing i hate more than spiders

Is it being 2:30 the night before a group presentation for my final and only one other person has sent me their part. At least I hold the fate of these other two fucks in my hand and I guess they dont like passing. Sorry finals have made me a jerk and I'm running off of 4 hours of sleep and more coffee than can remember after working then going to class then going to band practice for the band i just joined. At least the later of the three give me a reason to smile. Anyone else have any finals week/end of the semester/all around chaotic life stories they need to vent.

This is why I hate group presentations, at first, division of effort sounds GREAT...then people stop showing up, and then yeah...this happens.

Yeah group presentations usually end up being 1 & ½ people doing the work, and the rest maybe showing up to take all the credit after it’s all done.
But I do like spiders.

I hear ya buddy. I've got a final critique for printmaking tomorrow, a 15 pager due friday, final critique for painting next wednesday, final Art History exam next thursday, and final Physics exam next friday. And I just gave my final presentation for Physics on monday. My band hasn't practiced in over a week because everyone's got so much work then we have a break for a month so we won't be able to play until January. sucks.

Agreed.
Group projects do suck. I had a stat project where I ended up having to reformat everyone's work, completely redo one guy's part because he didn't get statistics, and then assemble the presentation poster. So basically, the only part I didn't do was one third of the calculations. But we got an A on the project, so I guess it was worth it

I just finished a stats project in which group work was allowed. I declined exactly because of this...The hyp. tests and C.I.'s were enough work by themselves, I didn't need to get into editing, too...
