What is the buzz on Boot-Leg?

Look interesting. I believe these were an inspiration for Devi early on.
I also noticed a "Deep Box" on one of the pedalboards that are used by Boris.

I am intrigued by the Jazz Fuzz, and would like to try one out.
May just have to fire them off an email to see if I can get one.

I found some of them being sold somewhat cheaper on e-bay.
I like the descriptions:

at a guess, no. it seems to be more along the lines of a sonic maximizer/EQ/filter. The Meatbox if I remember correctly is based on the DBX-120A Subharmonic Synth.
