Works fine for me
Youtube has been all glitchy. I couldn't even load videos until this afternoon. They are doing some kinda maintenance.

That is a pretty funky pedal... I think the one thing that would keep me from being interested on a practical level is the flipswitches between the two footswitches... I'd be too afraid of flipping something accidentally when I go to click something on with my foot...

I was JUST gonna post this! Here's his site anywas
http://sites.google.com/site/blackcandyeffects/I've been wanting a superfuzz. This could be my ticket. I luvs all the options! It'll be between this and the new Black Cat.

+1 on that. they should have been placed higher, instead on right between the footswitches. I'm much too busy rocking out when I'm onstage to concern myself with hitting the switch perfectly all the time. Most of my stage effects are dented because of that exact reason. I don't think those switches would last more than two performances with me.

Not considering the Watson?

It seems he's open to special orders...I guess someone could ask the toggles to be moved.

Hey, I'm the maker of these pedals. Feel free to ask any questions or make suggestions, it's all good to me.
About the toggles: they are lower in height than the footswitches and really don't get in the way. Sometimes I turn my foot sideways to hit both footswitches at the same time, and I've never even touched the toggles let alone accidentally tripped one. If someone requested it on a direct order, I could put the toggles on a side instead of on top if you're really worried about it (they won't really fit anywhere else on top, the circuit board takes up pretty much all of the space above the bottom black bar). You'd have to seriously be trying to hit a toggle, maybe come in at a weird sideways angle with your toe and slip your foot off the footswitch.
@ dorfmeister: Why would you want the Wattson when you can get mine for the same price? It's the same circuit except for 3 things: mine has a ton of extra features (variable cut, voltage control, accessible octave bias, buffered blend, power filter, sym/asym clipping or Si/Ge switch), their's use NOS 2SC828 silicon transistors even though they admit that there's no good reason to do so and suggest transistors with hfe=150 to 200 in a forum post (the 2n3904s I use are ~160, although I suppose I could use NOS too for an extra $10 at request, 2SC828s have poor manufacturing tolerances though), and mine is just prettier.

So what effect does putting germanium components in this circuit have?
I'm quite intrigued - Howz about an "I Love Fuzz" special to get a bunch of these out into the wild where we can put them through their paces and start talking them up?

Germanium diodes make it sound a little warmer with less harsh clipping. There's a good youtube video of a diy superfuzz with a Si/Ge switch:
http://www.youtube.com/v/BPBn1VK8CWell if anyone is in the Washington DC area I could meet up with them sometime at a GC or something so they could test it out.

I guess because the Wattson has a longer track record and I have actually played through one and have friends who love their Wattsons.
