Well you don't make any pedals YET so...

I finished my board last night...just waiting on my cbread WIIO to come in. There is no way that pedal ISN'T going on my board.

So we have to keep quiet about our category there... but here...

I can't decide if I should do the noise or small pedalboard. I could do a budget board, but that's no fun.

I heart 3-5 pedal chains.

I think the field will be CROWDED this year...prizes should have been kept secret until the entries were done.

I'd enter but I my board would just consist of Clari(not), Empress Delay and CHK CHK BOOM. The Bass Big Muff is heading out eventually and the thing cloudscapes has probably won't be sent out until later. Plus, HCFX likes the whole expensive patch cables thing as well as having a real board. Floor works just as nicely as a board!

I wouldn't mind winning a few of those pedals, though the Workhorse is the one that stands out the most. Hope someone from ILF wins it.

I don't think they value $$$ as much as they value clean OCD boards.
I look through the pedal board thread and I wonder how and why they would keep their boards so tightly packed and clean.

All I know is my Tri fuzz is going to be smack dab in the middle.

i think to compete in this you HAVE to have an Reverberator, Empress Delay, a Timmy & an Eventide Timefactor on your board. just to COMPETE. this is not even talking about what the ACTUAL pedalboard looks like (probably a lot of lights, AC outlets...)...

plus yous gotta have your Barber on there, your Fulltone, a DLS...that is gotta take up the SECOND row.

i think that Line 6 M9 shit is totally bogus & disingenious. they are only pumping it up cuz it's NEW. wait 'til the next NEW thing comes out. SPAM thread will be flooded w/ them for like 3 hundo...two fifty... at that price i'd rather have a KP3.

it is so sad. the groupthink/herd mentality there. in their efforts to obtain a "unique" pedalboard, all of them wind up looking monolithic. all those pedalsboard look the same. but that is what happens when you think inside a box...

now I gotta go organize and take photos.

i'm going to put together the ugliest thing i can and enter in the noise category... just for fun. or maybe a 3 tremelo board. i'm talking taking pedals out of their housing and kinda throwing their guts onto a soda tray and then dumping a bunch of dirt on top and all that... will be good...

yeah i just saw that they have different categories. i am kind of curious to see who wins the "noise" board entry this year. (no one i know that makes "noise" using a pedal board.) what were there winning (noise) boards for previous years. i cannot seem to find previous HCFX battle of the boards.
