Who's tried this before? I might have the chance to grab one in exchange for a vintage bass and some cash... I'm gonna grab it regardless but was wondering if anyone has had any first-hand experience with one.

Seriously though, the thing seems like a tweeker's paradise, and it can sound glorious.

the HOG is not a pedal not i would acutally want to spend money on--i'd be fine w/ an EHX Octave Multiplexer--or something but a trade & cash deal would be something i'd jump on. don't know the specifics of the tradeandcash deal, but it seems almost like a no-brainer?

LOL. again. not GASn for one but wouldn't mind having one either. the price is kind of a woodkiller. but a trade up would be gravy. like whatever piece of gear & like a hundo would be sweet.

that seems like a good trade. seems like a win-win. if i had a HOG & didn't want it anymore i would do it becuz i don't have a Bass. & conversely, if i had a Bass to come off of & $200, i would get the HOG. that seems like a satisfactory trade. IMHO.

I had one for a while and it was pretty sweet but it just never played nice with a couple of my fuzzes. Plus, I wasn't that impressed by the construction - it was much lighter than I would have imagined and just felt really fragile...I like stompboxes to be STOMPboxes. I sold it because I fucked up my car and needed money fast, BUT, I do wish I could have kept it because it does make for an awesome recording tool. It just didn't hold up very well live for me.

It is an amazing pedal. The Freeze+Volume and Freeze+Gliss modes are teh fucking seks. I miss mine terribly

So the dude told me that although he really likes the guitars that I offered, he can't make up his mind cuz he really wants a bass amp. I need everybody that reads this to put some energy into the ether and tell this guy that he really wants to trade me for his HOG. PLEEEEEEEASE?!?! I'll write an ILF theme song if it works out, I promise.

if not. it wasn't meant to be. wait for another one. i really hate flaky indecisive people like that. i think that is kind of lame. he should not have even made the offer if he was gonna be lame like that.
