so. blurillaz mention of the Vestax MDX Digital Delay w/ Modulation & anxietyswitches recommendation of the Yamaha Magicstomp had me wondering about obscure & discontinued pedals that are just really good but no one really checks for now. either becuz it got a bad rap, or the company is more famous for making other things--Peavey: amps. Vestax: DJ equip. Yamaha: keys--et cetera; however, it doesn't have to be older mass-produced, off-the-shelf stuff necessarily: maybe a boutique builder that got out of the game or something & is not talked about much now. IDK...

pliz think outside-the-boxxx w/ this one guys: no OBVIOUS stuff. doesn't have to be pedals exactly either but that is the range i am looking for.

HAO The Roar. Great fuzz, very responsive, can go from furry/clean to nasty mess of fuzz, only 100 were made do to component availability. I have a few of these......

okay now we're talking. again. doesn't have to be confined to mass-produced digital pedals from the 80's necessarily. just some stuff I HAVE NEVER FUCKING HEARD OF OR SEEN BEFORE IN MY LIFE. Boss & DOD are a little too obvious...


but GOOD pedals. not obscure for obscurity's sake. if it was a crap pedal then it's a crap pedal and it probably got discontinued for a reason.
