Not too musical but a cool little noise maker.

They are neat. I saw a band last week and they had an original thingamagoop.
it was entertaining albeit slightly uncontrollable.

Pretty nifty. I guess they discontinued version 1 and the Thing-a-ma-kit since they aren't on their site anymore. This reminds me, i still have a Thing-a-ma-kit waiting for me to assemble it.

Nice! You should get around to assembling it sometime! It's okay. I bought a bunch of pedal parts and haven't made anything yet!

Entertaining is the key word! I've been waiting for someone to throw in an 'annoying'!
What kind of band was it? Do you remember their name?

Yep. I wanted to try a small pedal build and thought this would be a fun winter project. Unfortunately I have other winter projects that have popped up, plus when I take a look at that big bag o' board, circuits, wire, switches, etc. it looks a bit overwhelming.

It will be built eventually tho, just need to find the time. I do have a Thingamagoop V1 that keeps me entertained in the mean time.

That's how I feel. Overwhelmed! I'll build something simple eventually. Right now I'm just enjoying learning about all the different boutique pedal makers out there.

I'd love to get something like that and find a way to throw it in the loop of Devi's Heaven's Gate (when they're actually available) with a fuzz or modulated delay or something... set the gate relatively hard so you can strum normally, and then just WHANG on the strings for a total atonal freakout!

That sounds like a sweet idea!

Nice! I like drummers that jam out with a traditional grip! Always reminds me of Mitch Mitchell!
