I'm very happy to be 21. Even though this year's been rough, I've had very good luck with my band being pretty fantastic. Not to be cocky or anything, because I'm definitely not at heart. I'll post some songs from the show in a week or two when they're done...
I played a birthday show and we didn't have an encore planned... But the 20-30-40 people literally would not stop applauding until we played an encore. Friends from New Orleans and New York and New Brunswick and even LA said that we were good.
My birthday party could not have gone any better, and I'm glad you guys are awesome.
You guys provide a particular sense of consistency to me that is unparalleled by any other perpetuality that I have, and I am very happy here

And I say that as someone who DID waste their 20's thinking they were preparing for some great future. I realized my error just as my 20's were ending.
