You're iPhone pix turned out better than mine. I wasn't too enthralled by Rwake, but Yakuza impressed.
Wino was pretty damn cool between sets - out front talking to anyone. Very cool pair of sets!

I still haven't heard Shrinebuilder (I'll get to them some day), but HOLY LIVING FUCK I need to catch this tour if it comes out my way. Um. If it's even a tour I suppose. Perhaps not. Either way. I love those two bands. Ahem. Yes. Quite. Rather. Indeed. Etc. Plus, I mean, you know, Wino is pretty much the most amazing dude ever. Well, one of the most amazing dudes ever. Top 25 material really.

I only see one (European) date on their calendar for 2010, and they have one track streaming at their myspace page:

rwake had a woman screaming and playing some keys...
yakuza was LOUD!!!! the guitarist was playing a sexy transparent blue sg that was sexy and LOUD!!!
I was a bit pissed as the LP sold out before the end of the first show...
I really really really hope they make another album some day!!!

No - not in Chicagoland, I'm in the Springfield area. I rolled up to catch the shows with my brother in law (who came in from Ft. Wayne). Felt kinda hipster by drinking at Exit the night before.
Finally caught WIno - I was at the first two Templars of Doom Fests in Indy and was all excited to see Place of Skulls

- right after Wino left

(still a good set, but...). I had tix to see Mastodon w/ Hidden Hand opening at Pop's in St. Louis

: show canceled due to Mastodon getting an opening slot for Iron Maiden in Europe.
Anywho, Rwake was, imho, dull. Enjoyed the prog & experimental Yakuza stuff more than the screeching vocal part.
