Empress Effects has released a new version of their popular Superdelay pedal exclusively through ProGuitarShop.com. The limited edition Vintage Modified Superdelay’s vintage setting has some added modulation that makes the repeats lush and full with a bit of warble. The Old mode has had the high end rolled off a bit with the same modulation and some grit added to produce worn heads and dirty tape on your tape delay. The new Empress Vintage Modified Superdelay still has all the rest of the features and great sounding delays as the original with a new paint job and a little added appeal to the tape and vintage delay fans.
I was playing with it today, and the sounds that come out of it are SOO pretty. & it's super easy to make really really nice sounds.
same goes for the flanger. I've never had one that sounded so good and NOT metallic. it was sweet.
i'm gonna have to take some time with the whetstone to get used to the subtle little things that it does, but i'm really happy with the sweet juicy tones these pedals give me
the twosome covers those tamed fuzz sounds that i know people love to hear. I usually like my fuzz harsh, abrasive & aggressive, but this guy is lush and creamy.
I haven't even begun to chain them. I'll be in heaven.

I love my regular superdelay, but the new "vintage modified" one doesn't interest me as much. I like the faux tape mode more on the SD, but the only problem is the modulation in general. Then again, you got a ridiculous flanger so that probably helps out. Can we expect any clips of it all?
