Man, I must have been under a rock for a couple of months....How fucking long has this been above ground and in the open? Jesus christ, if you were ever unsure about whether to get an h1n1 shot, this definitely seals the deal for me.
And whats with this lawsuit against baxter for allegedly unleashing h1n1 on the world on purpose?

What's the connection (...other than "scary medical technology I don't understand")?

Sounds like standard crazy tinfoil hat-conspiracy-theory-I-don't-understand-anything-about-biology bullshit to me.

So, medical advice is really best coming from Jenny McCarthy, Oprah Winfrey, and viral emails erroneously attributed to Dr. Bob and Dr. Vinay Goyal rather than your GP? Sounds like a plan. :picard:

I guess the post was geared more towards people who actually know a bit about what is going on. I don't really know you personally nor do I care what happens to you out of your lack of knowledge or open-mindedness. :picard:

oh,and by the way, the connection is you getting the h1n1 vaccine (whether you know you are getting it/ want it or not) and you getting a verichip (very much under the same circumstances.) My only guess to the "what does it all mean" involves you, reading, and the trilateral commission.

Oh, and while I am at it, I don't believe fabricating serious accusations to the FBI over international affairs would be a smart thing to do, especially coming from a Baxter employee. That is some serious "tin-foil-hat" shit to be acting out on.

This shit comes up every time something like this makes the news because most people slept through one or two years of science class. I saw it with AIDS, with bird flu, with SARS. It's not our fault you don't understand virus evolution and think the only way a novel virus could get into the wild is by the communists/government/CIA/Aliens/or Animal from the muppets manufacturing it in a lab and releasing it just to get you. It's also self-important and naive. "I don't know you personally nor do I care what happens to you" either but all the stupid scare-mongering disrupts our herd immunity and puts everybody at risk and that pisses me off.
I'm totally happy for all the antivaxers to skip their jabs, just so long as they then stay the fuck away from other people.

I'm just gonna leave this here for anyone who may be so inclined to actually educate themselves on any medical matters. ;)

Haha! That video was great.

I'd love to find reasonable evidence that the vaccine is evil. Needles give me the willies.

Is H1N1 "swine flu?"

my best friends father who happens to be a doctor said that now is not the time to get the swine flu vaccine, because it's not developed to its fullest capabilities and was released to calm the public. :idk:

if it's not swine flu, i'm probably immune to it by now.

as far as verichips are concerned, if my government has put one in me, i'm pretty upset with them but there isn't much i can do about it now except bitch about it and sue people. As far as thats concerned, i do live in america, so it would only be fitting.

if they haven't well than good.

The actual medical term is "Bacon Lung."

Yes, kinda. H1N1/09 is the new strain of influenza A. It's an RNA virus, so the replicase has no proofreading capability and it mutates more quickly than something with a DNA genome. What we're seeing now is that the swine influenza A and human influenza A viruses have hybridised, so it's an unknown quantity. Historically, zoonotic infections like this are often very virulent -- viruses tend to evolve toward lower virulence the longer they're associated with a particular host.

Deepak Chopra is an MD. I don't know what "not developed to its fullest capabilities" means, but vaccine production procedures are pretty straightforward.
Wizard wrote:if it's not swine flu, i'm probably immune to it by now.
Unlikely, possible but unlikely. If you were around in 1963, you might have antibodies to some of the epitopes which might give you immunity. These viruses mutate and evolve so fast because the error rate in replication is so high. Same with the cold, which is why you get them year after year.
