No love? I can score one fairly cheap...the cross over distortion control seems interesting to me, but he only briefly demos that feature in the video...

Interesting... I like it, but it gets the same kind of sounds as my grounswell/arc flash dual. :idk:

Oooh good dealings there. Normally though, it is more expensive than my FH though. I'd recommend people use the coupon while they can.

I had one for a minute or two that I'd scored from here in a trade. The clean blend wasn't for me, but there were definitely lots of tones in that box if you wanted them. Definitely some good opportunities for bassists, though.

I play guitar... I'm looking for a fuzz with an oscillation feature.

I did a bass demo for David in exchange for a Goose at an extremely reasonable price. All in all, I liked it a lot; as mentioned, there are a lot of great bass-friendly tones to dial in with the blend. The oscillation worked really well; the knob orientation makes it easy to roll it on and off with your foot (although having an expression pedal instead might be more useful).

I play guitar... can it goes synth like as the note or chords decay?

David has a couple of guitar videos on his site (at www.takeflightpedals.com) so I'd give those a look. They will probably answer your questions better than I can.

I always wondered why the Goose didn't get more attention--there's a lot of great sounds packed in there. I don't hear a lot of the synthy filter sweep as notes decay, though, even on oscillation settings, but maybe that's just me. Lot's of great 8-bit-type synth sounds though. The crossover sounds are really nice at helping the fuzz cut and adding chewy texture, although again, they don't remind me of wave table synthesis the way Geiger Counter and Multiwave Distortion do. Add in octave, several selectable "characters" that really do sound distinct, and it's a lot of value for the money.
