i am bored so i decided to make a thread.

thrice is my favorite band, ever. i love how much ground they cover, i love the feel of their music... i love every cd since AITA - the ones before werent my cup o' tea but i do like a few of the older songs.

i love the lyrics, i love the music, everyone does their part very very well.

i dont know if this is the kind of band a lot of people here like, i know i have seen a LOT of bands mentioned here i've never heard of before but hey. thats ok, thats what different people / different bands are for.

so. i guess i just wanted to see if anyone here likes thrice. any particular favorite songs/ albums - etc. hell, if you dont like them, feel free to say you dont.

dude, thrice are amazing.

i only really got into them liike a bit over a month ago when my friend gave me the alchemy index. it is motherfuckin' solid gold and i went from being all 'who are thrice' to 'THRIIIIIIIIICE!!!' in like a day.

I like Vols I &II more than III & IV. don't really know much apart from this album though, except for 'image of the invisible', which is badass.

Been a fan since the beginning, though vheissu was the splitting point for a lot of fans. You either love artist and the ambulence and everything before, or vheissu and everything after.

I love that they weren't afraid to grow and change. I like a lot of the Veissu stuff, the alchemy indexes, and even the new album Beggars has some cool things. Plus I like that they now record their own records. They have some awesome tones and sounds. I really recommend the live cd/dvd set that they put out as well. Awesome.

I've been down since Identity Crisis and out of all the bands that they played with, I still like them. They've grown as musicians even though they were ahead of it back then. I really wanna hear Beggars

Came into this thread expecting to be the only dissenting voice. Not really a fan, but I saw a video of theirs last night, and it was kinda cool.

(Most people hate the band because they don't shred anymore, or hate them because they think they still shred )

i thought about posting this thread recently when i skimmed through the music section to see that i already posted it.

sorry for my serious lack of involvement.

anyways, im VERY pleased to here some people like them a lot. they are still by far my favorite band ever. i even have a thrice inspired tattoo ( the cross thing from atia with "due for a miracle" over it)

anyways.. i guess people like what they like. everything like this is opinion based so no one is right or wrong, no matter how much id like to say people who don't like them are wrong... i probably dont like MOST of the music most people do so its all good!

anyways. i have the live thrice at house of blues cd/ dvd is SO good... some of the songs i like better live even. one of them being the aol sessions dust of nations...

yep! awesome. ive seen most of the live videos on youtube but i could watch them over and over and over so... im about to watch the ones posted in this thread (thanks for posting!)

Exactly! Thrice just grew up faster than their fans, so a lot of people think they got soft or sold out or some other crap.
