What is everyones thoughts on this? I like the idea, but the first video they put up seems a bit noisy. I do like the idea of using other pedals as a sample source, which in theory should make for a lighter pedalboard and get rid of one use pedals. Just not sure.

seems very much related to the pedal the former Gamechanger guys released a week or 2 ago. one wonders how much of the tech is similar.

I think this is the video for that pedal. Prior it was just a 3 second clip.

Some kind of impulse response generator+player that lets you easily copy the timbral properties of any sample you load into it is something I've been hoping would pop up for a while now.
This seems really close to that, but also the demo kinda made it sound like you can't dial out the 'loopiness'(?), for lack of a better term. I'm not sure what you actually get control over, and they didn't really explain what the "three selectable FFT-based imprint engine resolutions" are.
If that's the case though, maybe chucking the samples through paulstretch or something then loading them in would do the trick? I dunno.

The replacing one-trick pedals idea is cool, too. Maybe even being able to recreate happy accidents that you get with super random/unpredictable peds (e.g. MASF Possessed).

Anyway, cautiously interested.. :snax:

That pedal is beautiful! The design nerd in me is in love. It has that Teenage Engineering vibe to it. The only downsides for me are the pedal size and that it looks plastic (hopefully it is sturdy).

The quote unquote shittiness of the results was my favorite part.

I want one because it sounded so crude and sort of not quite right. I've been hovering over the preorder button for a while now.
