So, while I was browsing the tube I came across this short: https://youtube.com/shorts/94Z4fPkJCH4? ... -4BQHX53nR
…aaaand it's apperently a thing: https://www.thomann.de/de/mellotron_micro_module.htm
So, if you're like me, you simply love the Mellotron. For me it's not only the classic flutes, three violins and choir sounds, I also absolutely adore the trumpet, mandolin, piano and many more of the sounds in that Resch digital Mellotron family. Now, it's basically a sampler, of course, and there are many great alternatives for iPad etc., so the instruments have pretty insane prices. I maybe get the premium category for the big M4000D with the wooden keys, polyphonic aftertouch and whatnot but the Micro with the simply annoying two octave keybed for a 1000 bucks??? Still, I definitely prefer hardware and here comes the module. Still expensive for what it is but let's say it's acceptable. I think I'm going to get one. What do you say? Yay or nay?
