After finding out the Breeders are opening up for Olivia Rodrigo next year, I immediately thot....why shouldn't she reign in Watt for a Minutemen reunion tour? Who else could be werthey 2 channel D. Boon's politics n' grinding guitar to a new jenneration of future politikohedz, Gen Z'oupers, non-binary Ladybrgxyz & tomorrow's unrelenting futureppl? Nonne moore perfekt than a Disney kid with seemingly brilliantê synergystik agents! I blame the lack of Wattage that reaches my area over the last few yeers (I also blame the i-10 interchange, lack of good venues/decent rekkid stores/podcasting nooks, and no Thurston sightings) for tinkling this into my brain, but now I can't imagine NOT hearing Hurley/Watt/Rodrigo tearing into Viet Nam o'er sumthin'
"Flurry of Geese" would be a good band name if there wasn't an awful current jamband called Goose.
we're also forgetting Ed from Ohio. shouldn't he be folded in somewhere in the spirit of the unending series of Grateful Dead semi-reunions?

I wish there could be a Ball Hog or Tugboat type situation with all the heavy hitters on that tour, which would seem ideal, but IDK who, apart from a radicalized Disney kid, could foot that bill (in both ways).
The idea of Goose/Geese (two different bands! I had no idea) seems great on paper, but like any jam band that isn't the Dead, is a horrible eggsperience on this plane of reality. Only legacy reeders of Relix know the diff, fer sure.
Fury Of Geese would be an OK name, maybe. Or Camper Van Hoisery, which I guess would be David Lowery, Hozier & and just one ASCAP legacy member (probably Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, if he ever finishes playing that third solo).
Furry Of Geese would probably draw the wrong crowd
