Argh! They should ditch that dreadful blue ultrabright LED! That's the only thing of my Gonkulator that I don't like.

This is great news - IIRC wasn't the reason for the shuttering just some Samsung finances or something?
The 250 rips.

Samsung bought Harman for car audio branding. DOD/Digitech weren’t anything they cared about, so DOD/Digitech seemed like a good target for arbitrary cost cutting to reduce costs on the acquired divisions.
Best part of this news is Tom’s deal gives him the freedom to continue Spiral on the side.

Great news and very happy for Tom and his team to hopefully be back pushing the sonic envelope. Can we start bugging him about a space station reissue yet?

I think the dsp crew got picked up by Line 6, and I understand the newer Helix pitch effects have benefited greatly as a result.

Tom said in another thread that the only person who was 100% knowledgeable about the Space Station was hired by
InMusic, so I suppose you can start asking the good people of Numark or Alesis or M-Audio?
Remember: the Space Station was built upon DSP code that doesn't eggsist anymore, and would be difficult to convert to Spin chips

It still is alive in EPROMs out there, so you could always go the long way around and buy an old XP unit & install that 'prom
But didn't one of the CooperFX card stations have a few similar patches? You should go bug Cooper at Chase Bliss dot edu dot guv, why knot?
I hope the updated/reissh DOD 250 will be the Bunny mod, but I'm also interested in whatever the groop comes up with, short of festooning the enclosure with cartoon skeleton pirates

Most of the Space Station patches are surprisingly easy to recreate with other pedals, I've found.
I'd love to see that concept return in some form, though. Giving people a bunch of bizarre FX and nothing but a borderline unusable treadle to tweak them with is a Chad Move™.

Think Ben Adrian works at Line 6 - but you can get a KWB from Scott from time to time:

I thought Digitech was headed in an awesome direction before they closed. Though I still wish they would have spread the inputs and outputs a little further apart for pancake plugs.
I'm probably one of a very few amount of people who would like a compact dual-mono Whammy with an expression input instead of an included treadle. With top jacks.

Thanks! I also posted that link a few weeks back in
the NUDE gear thread threat when they became available again, but I'd just love to see the bunny mod get a bigger window to more folks, really. I'm sure Keely or some pseudo non-denominational ILF company already offers something similar (just not as bunnified), but also I would love to see a cartoon skeleton pirate bunny a lâ Kram & co.
Ben still works for L6 AFAIK, but I only see him post occasionally on the PRForum
from time 2 thymme, unless he became David Lynch's personal roadie or something.

1. From your lips to God's hips! A stereo in/out (or dual mono, whatever you want is fine) Whammy would solve all my problems. ZOMFG. Make it so!
2. Death to super-bright LEDs. Horrible.
3. What about a Space Station Mini or Space Station Micro? Dare to dream...
