Likely simple DIY question: Jaguar strangle switch pedal?

I can't see why it wouldn't work but...is there any reason why I couldn't put a Jaguar strangle switch in a stompbox?
I can't solder for shit (my fried retina sees to that), but was curious if anyone had tried.
I keep having this nagging idea to put them in all my guitars, but that's too much work, and having a box to do it would...be useful.
Might consider one of our Shark Tankers doing it as well!

It would probably be cheaper, though less elegant, to get a little EQ pedal.

no reason at all that it is a bad idea. people make boxes for gibson varitone circuits all the time. eq pedal could pull it off but it is harder to get the sound of an rc hpf. plus it is dirt cheap to make anyways

Yea, I have a ton of EQ options, just want "that thing" basically.
Figured it'd be a case of the parts for the case cost more than the rest!

if you put some effort into it i am sure you could find a capacitor more expensive than the enclosure

I am nigh certain of that!
May have a Shark Tanker do it for me, just because.
WITH AN EXPENSIVE CAPACITOR.
