So I saw some tort guard on ebay that went for like 100 bucks+. Like what's the premium you're paying for here? It's not NOS obviously since it's made just for the Peter Buck
model

Those avantguards look pretty slick. They look to be cheaper on their site though (unless they are only the out of stock ones).

Very cool, but very different guitar. Barks a bit like a resonator or even a banjo. Chords die quickly, with single notes hanging longer. Weird and kind of tough to deal with, but meeting it where it is it’s a pretty compelling beast. Glad it’s not my only acoustic, but glad I have it.
