I think the thing that makes it bad is the horrible guitar playing. The fuzz sounds pretty cool. And it may be a DE fuzz. But listening to guitarists "on the rise" (<trying to be nice here) often sucks.

I don't necessarily think that it's the tone to end all tones, but it's a nice gated sound. It's a bit compressed for my tastes, but it's all relative. If you love it, go for it.
Not agreeing with the whole "guitarists on the rise" thing though. It's always nice to hear people evolve while playing. Definitely better than anything I can do.
How was the micing situation, by the way?

I recorded it pretty hastily. I'm using a USB Condenser mic at the moment. I should probably get a proper preamp for my dynamic mic but I have no more free plugs. I need one that can be powered off USB(and is cheap).

Yeah, what a douche. I had a similar experience with the analogue/digital thread. When one person starts acting that way other people often join in.
