had a flu 3 weeks ago, tested negative. persistent cough, just to be safe, got tested Monday, just got the results, positive.

i've done everything as right as i can. closed my business when the shutdown started. haven't had a single client in the shop since Covid started, changed up my whole intake process completely. masks everywhere, vaxxed as soon as i was allowed to, boosted as soon as my risk/age group was able to.

fuck. everyone. that is safe to be vaccinated. and doesn't.

i'm tired of feeling bad for people that play stupid games and win stupid prizes not just for themselves, but society at large. selfish pieces of shit. and what it's doing to our health care workers? oh NOW you believe in science you ignorant fucking troglodytes? fuck OFF.

Yep, I just got a postive result this morning. Double vaccinated, got my booster booked in. Been super careful with going out, keeping distance, you name it.

Incredibly fucking infectious.

The rhetoric around vaccines is not as bad here as in your neck of the woods but still, it's just so frustrating.

annnnybody going through Long Covid? i've been Doom Reading some horrifying studios on LC effects. i'm a bit confused about how one knows if they DO have LC. some articles suggest even low/no symptom infections are at risk.

mine hung around forever, and my feet are still weird two months later, and neurological impairments? please that's like all day every day anyway. beyond that, i'm already a life-long asthmatic living in a hyperallergenic environment. i sleep like shit and i'm perpetually tired/fatiqued. so what might be LC and what is just garden variety FML? for real, i can't tell what exactly the signs of long covid really are, let alone what can be done about it. my doctor has basically written me off :/ just call me Ray for ray'o'sunshine

I think it's going to take a lot of study to know what's neurological impairment from long covid and what's complex ptsd from living in the world for the last few years.

I'm on the recovery end of 'normal' covid (so far) but I'm buying pedals with clean blend so clearly there are massive neurological implications.
