unlike some bassists who deign to take a solo, Deacon understands that the groove sees all and knows all. He obeys the groove without mercy, and yet proceeds to become fat and funky. Consider the ramifications of this.

Garrison was a beast! Kinda different from yours in that it is not in the middle of the song so it hasn't got a groove to live up to but it introduces the piece in a great manner. John Wetton had some great solos with king crimson too. A fav of mine has always been the part in the middle of ltia pt.1
