As the title says. There are way too many brands out there for me to keep track of, whats your favorite sub $80 and sub $50 even reverb pedals? I'd rather buy used but am not opposed to behringer.

How are the old school alesis and yamaha reverb processors?

A friend of mine was showing me his caline snakebite a few weeks ago and it sounded surprisingly good.

T Rex Whirly Verb? Never tried it, looks fun though.

Danelectro Corned Beef if you want to sound like your guitar is being played by Oscar the Grouch with his lid on (and you do).

TC Electronics Hall of Fame or Mini Hall of Fame, I think those were/are really popular

There's a couple Zoom 507s on Reverb now. I bet it sounds interesting.... And it can do both pre/post modulation. And has delay.

Snakebite does the job well if you're not looking for tricks.

Also really liked the Cuvave DIG REVERB, which has a few modded modes, including, quite unusually for a cheapie, a decent ducking mode.

For a bit more (say US$99-ish), the Mooer 7-series pedals are great. I can't speak specifically to the R7 (which is the more straightahead reverb) but I'm a huge fan of the A7 ambient reverb.

I had a Behringer Reverb (the 300 I think?) that was pretty terrible. The cheapest one. I don't need my reverb to make my guitar sound terrible, I have other pedals for that. ;)

Alesis Midiverb is sweet if you can do rack mounted (hmm, I see prices are up, and not within your range). Prices are up on everything, even the average DOD pedals.

What the . . . . I had like four of these at one time, sold them for like $50 when I got the Polaras. Those prices are high too! Who made these the IT thing all of a sudden?

And the Digiverbs are going for over $100 too. :idk:

I think you can still get a Boss RV-5 for around $80 sometimes. A couple years ago you could easily get them for $70 even.

Behringer Reverb Machine RV600 can sometimes be found cheap and is not terrible.

Just saw a Donner Vintaverb demo that wasn’t life changing but interesting. 7 mode stereo pedal for $60 with interesting freeze/hold on most modes that seemed worth a look. It’s interesting that budget generic-ish import pedals are picking up on playable features like this.

Some youtuber. idk i talked to some kid about the rv-7 like "yeah they are great you can get them for 80 bucks in piles" but apparently not. It's not like they are rare either are they? Like the hardwire delay and reverb were staples when they were new. idk reverb fucks over the price of anything that isnt new. i still see them for decent prices sometimes but they go fast. guess everybody just wants to be kevin shields still

^ I agree. Reverb combined with COVID has made prices super weird compared with a few years back.
