So I found this thing cause I was looking at old wah pedals (pretty perverse, eh). First I didn't really care for it "So it's some rare analogman thing for Floyd fans whatever" but I looked at all the pics anyway. That's when I realized: It is just a crybaby rehoused with some reverse switch. Exactly the thing you wanna pay 250 dollars plus shipping from down under for. Like I'm sure analogman makes some great stuff if you have too much money but this thing? Like this could only be explained as some scheme had had to not waste old gbc95 boards from wahs he bought for the enclosure

It is THE jam! I used to be obsessed with it and did it with my vox ($50) wah. Then I wrecked my soundcard. Maybe those 200 dollars makes the soundcard not break?

So:
1) buy $25-50 CL/thrift store wah;
2) rehouse circuitboard in Hammond box sprayed with hammer tone Rustoleum spray can;
3) put some birds on it;
4) profit!
5) use wah shell for something cooler than a bog standard Crybaby;
6) profit some more!

Pink Floyd's first album I enjoyed. After that I lost interest completely and Gilmore's playing is like ex lax. A smooth buttery shit.

While gulls are on the front page, I keep meaning to ask the ILF effectsperts about this song. Someone brought it up on the Wolf Alice reddit forum a couple months ago and they never got a definitive answer.

About 1 minute into this song, there is a brief lead guitar break where they are using a sitar-like effect. Behind the sitar, there are some seagull-like echoes. My guess was that it some sort of pitch-shifter run through a delay or something, but don't really know too much about either of those realms. Anyone here feel like taking a stab at it?

i think you're correct. my thought is that the pitch-shift and delay are from the same device...there are a bunch of pitch-shift delays these days. given that the part in question seems largely the same throughout, it could be a delay that loops or a separate loop.
