Mooer babybomb. What.The.Fuck

Ok... Seriously is this a joke ?
First of all there is a really annoying noise coming out of this pedal. That might be the power supply or the pedal itself ikd but it is 100% not due to anything else in my setup.
Also, how the fuck is this pedal so loud? I mean, it says 30 watts but it is so fucking loud. Way louder than my quilter interblock 45. I can't crank both and test but by the way it goesso loud when barely touching the knob I'd say this is probably louder than my 100W mesa boogie MKIIB
Anybody else tried this pedal ? I mean jesus, I am pissed about the constant weird noise but also how the hell is this thing only 30W ?!??!

Don't have either. Perception of loudness vs wattage rating aside...louder than yer 100w Mesa? That's a bit hard to believe tbh
Anyway, I'm no Mooer hater, but for that kind of gear I'd personally rather spend a bit more for the safe/reliable/quiet option. So yeah, the noise issue doesn't really surprise me :/

they shipped you the double secret 300w version by mistake?

Frigid: yeah same here. I usually avoid cheap stuff but I just bought an unloaded hiwatt 4x12, 4 brand new eminence speakers, a brand new hilbish beta preamp, a new SMS CTP, 2 radial aby/io, bunch of cables, a rack bag... So yeah I figured I'd start with a cheap option and get a fryette, carvin or mesa tube power amp later. The babybomb was super noisy so I got an interblock which does a fine job. Next step is to test wether it is loud enough for the jam space.
Dandolin: lol right ? I think it is actually cool that it is so freaking loud. That means no worries about not having enough volume for me. If only it wasn't that noisy

lulz aside, i wonder if the noise is charge-pump-related - not that i have any genius solutions, but i've had problems with inexplicable noise in my chain that i've traced back to a pedal with charge pump interacting with some other pedal in the chain. only fix i ever found was to send those pedals to their rooms.

I have no clue what charge-pump problem means but I've read people had problems with the power supply... I'll check if I have another one with identical specs but I doubt it. It sucks I should have acted quickly and return but I doubt I can now.
Also it's noisy even if I go guitar straight to babybomb then straight to a speaker. Also seems to do a crackling noise when I strum hard. I'm giving up on this one.

a charge pump takes the input voltage & converts it to a higher level for internal use - something i wouldn't be surprised to see in a small, pedalboard friendly amp. for whatever reason, they can cause noise issues (heterodyning?) especially with certain digital pedals. not sure if design change in the charge pump or the digital pedal or both is necessary to alleviate that issue, but when it exists, the two (or more) pedals are essentially unusable together (although sometimes, i think, putting them on separate/really well-isolated power supply lines can help? (people who know about this...help?)....
But i don't think i read a description of your noise issue, and i forgot to ask - is it hiss? other white noise? crackling? whining? radio interference?
heterodyning is a persistent whining sound....
Of course, if the thing is as gainy as you're perceiving, and the noise is hiss/white, that could just be gain-related and maybe the inability technically/economically in a tiny (and cheap, i assume) mooer amp to implement effective noise-quieting measures....
google shows results for both whining and hiss with the Baby Bomb, and, yes, suggestions to upgrade the supplied psu (24v 2a) which Mooer customer service, lol, admits is cheap and a source of troubles (better that than it's the pedal design, right Mooer?

)

The noise is really weird, I don't think I ever encountered it before with gear. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's not hiss or white noise, not really whining either. It's weird almost something you would hear when connecting to internet in the 90s/early 2000s.
https://youtu.be/gsNaR6FRuO0 almost like at around 7 or 11sec of this video, but it does not change it's always the same sound.

i think that's likely heterodyning or some kind of oscillation - on TGP there is a vale of tears carved out by Klons' charge pumps interacting with Strymes.

I had a mooer volume wah that I had to flip because it introduced a slight high pitch wine when it was bypassed so I had to flip it.
