Normality restored

I found myself watching a JHS video :wha?: late last night which included some folk from Wampler, EQD and Alexander listing their favourite pedals made since 2000. It had various categories including weird/other and someone (can't remember who, can't be bothered to go back and look, I think it might have been B Wampler) offered up the Korg Miku - which reminded me that mine has languished in its box for quite a while/too long now.

So today I moved a few things around and added both my Barge Concepts VFB-X feedback looper and the Miku to my set up :yay:

I like the feedback looper for two reasons, it has a blend control so some guitar signal can be heard, which covers the lag a little bit, and occasionally the feedback side will make the Miku chatter away to itself, which amuses me hugely.

Thanks to the return of the Miku I have recorded some noises and put together my first two tracks of the year :)

Even heavily distorted by the rest of my pedals it adds something distinctive to the sound which I like a lot.

Miku into Wurhm via Fabrikat was very amusing.

I'm reading korg's page on the Miku pedal and they have an app where you can enter in your own lyrics for Miku to sing... I'm... I want to do that so badly.

also, congrats on the first two tracks of the year, you gonna leak em here or... :poke: :p

I made three more from the miku-based noodling and put them up on Bandcamp
