Sam Jayne passing

Sam Jayne has passed away. I really like Love as Laughter so I am pretty bummed. I hoped he would tour again at some point. He played on some of the good pre-antidepresent era Modest Mouse stuff and in Lync too.

i played my first ever out of town show with LYNC. it was 1994 in Columbia MO. they were a great band & very funny, nice guys. I have loved their album 'These Are Not Fall Colors' ever since. sad to hear about Sam.

to me, Love As Laughter is one of those bands where, no matter when you first find out about them, you immediately wish you had known their music all along. Super sad news.
