the Dhrupad style of Hindustani classical music is great for this. it's very slow moving & textural, so it doesn't get too distracting.

also, Wilburn Burchette made some really weird & interesting music for meditation on homemade stringed instruments & cheap organs in the '70s.

There's a lot of Tanpura drones out there on the youtube too, but that might be too minimal for you, espesh given the A+ videos in the thread already.
Obviously I'll suggest that you listen to Bong if you get the itch for something different.

The YouTube channel ‘Sounds of the Dawn’ has tons of fantastic new age meditation music, a lot of it is electronic but not all, they are cassette releases with hiss and warble which adds a lot to the charm, and most of it is not overproduced but rather obscure nobodies who maybe aspired to be over produced someday but if they ever got there it isn’t represented on this channel. Here’s one from last week of gong music:
