Half of everyone who has voted here thinks the album is trash.
That's pretty telling.

While Neil Young is an artist I like I dont like the Acousticy stuff he does. Also he named the wrong sex pistol, altough more likely due the rhyming issues.

"Rotten" doesn't rhyme with "harvest"

I'm suspicious of anything Neil Young has done besides After the Gold Rush and the Dead Man soundtrack.

I’m usually the last person to heap endless praise on the so called “canon of overplayed classic rock” albums (for example Pet Sounds makes me want to barf out of my ass) but this album is wonderful and deserves every bit of praise that has ever been bestowed upon it....
And I don’t love all Neil Young albums, but this one is truly great!!

Bad take

On The Beach and Live at Massey Hall called and said “exceptionally bad take”

Depends what you mean by that
On The Beach, Tonight's The Night, Live At Fillmore East, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere are just straight up classics imo. But fundamentally if you don't like his voice or just aren't into 60s/70s rock maybe it's not for you. But if you like Gold Rush you should like all that, no problem (and more besides but let's start slow

)

Zuma too, coldbrightsunlight. Don't Cry No Tears is like the perfect rock song.
