The Biological Moon is an Axoloti-based experimental lo-fi delay-looper. It has two delay modes; one short lo-fi style delay and a long, cleaner (but still lo-fi) digital delay. The digital delay's maximum delay time set to around 11 seconds. You will be able to change this maximum delay time (to around 22 or 43 seconds) yourself in software. What follows is the modulator section which features gooey pitch modulation or pulsating amplitude modulation that goes into ringmod territory. Pair that with a highly resonating 2-pole high- or lowpass filter, an ambient reverb and a fat subby octave down on the second footswitch and you've got the BioMoon.

Never thought of that! Sales raffle canceled, I'm making GigaMoon! :zen:

Thanks for the kind comments. Very nervous about this. Been playing other people's pedals for so long and now the tables have begun to turn. Very exciting. Very scary.

Have some other pedals on the horizon that I will be a able to produce in larger quantities (axo boards are getting hard to come by) and that won't be such a pain in the ass to make. This was sort of a stupid first pedal to make in hindsight.

Oh hello there.

Stupid is good. Good is stupid.

Won't be grabbing one of these (because it's too complicated for what I like on guitar not because it's not excellent) but intrigued by... other things?

Watched the proto and release demo and read everything I could. The Biological Moon is stereo in/out since it's Axoloti based, right?

It's mono in, stereo out. I only own one amp, so I can't really do anything with it on a developmental level. There's no panning or anything going on within the patch, just the same signal going out in both channels. There's some processing power left, so it could be doable. I just have no way of testing it so I didn't spend time tryig to implement it either, as I'd only hear one channel. I am making a little tutorial for the people who get one though, to sort of get their feet wet, and I strongly encourage them to explore the platform and make the pedal suit their needs and hopefully make them come up with something cool of their own.
