Anyone using this software? i've only got the live light version, and wondering if its worth an upgrade? it seems like almost none of the instruments plugins etc are included and that you have to buy them in addition

This is a good example of what you can do live with a full band
Soulwax is the shit and if you ever get the chance to see them live go.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc3g7uu1Gdk this is a video of their live setup every member controls their own lights and setup with Abelton

live is great. you can download the full version for a two week demo and see if you think its worth it.

I guess i should go for the ableton suite then, ive been doing some research today, and it seems like:
Upgrading from live lite 7 to 8 = more tracks and effects at the same time, but im still limited to the 1 instrument and sample pack i already got
Live lite => suite 8 = many devi fuzzes or a couple of dwarfcrafts but= all the instruments and loads of samples? :omg:
i guess it all comes down to how happy i am with my guitar effects vs how badly i need a drummer (mac) and want to make electronic musik/noizzzz

Live is really, really powerful. One of my friends DJed using it, and also did some really complex remixing and experimental work with it.

Ooh, i can take this oppourtunity to pimp my shit again, under disguise as an Ableotn Live commercial. anyway, this is all Ableton Live based: http://www.noisekoncept.com/nK011.html

And both of these were recorded on Live, the 1st albumn contains a lot more computery stuff: http://dwarfcraft.com/AntiRhythm_Records.html

You can hear teh goodness!
