Hello :)*

What Superfuzz type pedals would you recommend? The Guyatone TZ2 is one of my favourite pedals but I would like to try something that's a bit more flexible. I've been thinking about the SS/BS Buzzz but I expect there must be other good things out there!

If you want flexible, Buzzz is hard to beat honestly.

SS/BS Buzzz is really, really nice. I came to recommend it, although I was also sure it would've already been talked about here. I was also into the fredric effects Super Unpleasant Companion, but the versatility of both the FY-6 and the FY-2 in one, very nice looking, box. I haven't tried that one however, maybe someone else can chime in.

I have the behringer clone of the FZ-2 and it is very good, especially for the money. If you don't mind the having some behringer on the board you really can't go wrong with chucking 30€ at that one.

I listened to Electric Wizard yesterday and now I want a behringer FZ-2  Wait seriously they're £20?? :?: :idk:

I tried a Buzzz once and it was super nice but for me it sounded way better on bass than guitar. :idk:

I don't really have any useful input here. Dwarfcraft Necromancer might be cool but I have never actually tried one.

I didn't realise that the Super Unpleasant Companion contained both circuits. Seems like it's available in a smaller enclosure now too - I'll watch some videos!

Yeah, those new enclosures look hella sexy. Still with the slant, but with top jacks and big face knobs. If I was lusting for a superfuzz, which happens sometimes, I'd probs try one of those out

I’ve been looking for an FZ-2 clone casually forever, even the Behringer ones seem to go for 70+ here which.... I’m no hater, I love their bass EQ that I bought for $12 but I can’t spend that much on a Behringer!!!!

i have had several superfuzz types. the best is probably the buzzz. fredric is old-school sounding, but the only one i still have is the octane 3.

It is kinda like, why would anyone ever sell them? I mean, I don't always want to play the FZ-2, but I'd only get like 20€ if I tried to sell it anyway. I checked reverb and they do indeed seem more expensive on there for Canada. Thomann is in germany and I guess is quite the cheap online music shop. Anyways, here is one for less than 50€ shipped if you want https://reverb.com/item/28254170-behrin ... fuzz-sf300

Also, speaking of slanted enclosures, did anyone try the wattson superfuzz? I have heard nothing but good things about them
