Eventide H9 - Still a good option?

I'm thinking about getting an Eventide H9, primarily for more outlandish delays and reverbs. I know that it was released a while ago now and there's a lot of boutique companies that produce digital pedals these days but the H9 seems pretty comprehensive. Is it still a good choice? I would like something with a multi-tap delay for Shoegazey stuff but I don't have any specific requirements other than that.

I still love it. I dig a lot of the algos and my favorite part is digging in and tweaking with the app. You get exactly what you need.

Ultratap, Resonator and SpaceTime alone worth the $500 for a used max unit.

If you don't mind working with the app or some kind of MIDI controller to access the controls and algorithms then it is definitely a good option still. Overall, I just couldn't bond with it. I hated having to use the app and the number of algorithms just gave me option paralysis.

Yeah, I can understand why that might be off-putting, although it's hard to have lots of options/parameters without some sort of menu system or software. I think I'll give the H9 a go but I don't think I'd use it for effects that I use heavily.
