I think the V1 sizzle is a [passive?] roll-off treble, whereas on V2 it's a 3-band active +/-

I prefer V1 on bass and V2 on guitar.

So as long as you have one of each of them at home you can justify two frazzes.
I mean, you can always justify two frazzes. But even more so if you have a bass and a guitar.

Oddly enough this has been my plan for when I get the v2. Put v1 over to the bass rig.
