Starting at 3:18 there's this strings-esque ring sound, and I can't figure out what instrument is responsible, or what pedals are being used.
I'm assuming it's one of the guitars but idk

Since the performance looks to be two takes spliced together, the white Jaguar player seems to be strumming with an EHX MEL-9 on the High Choir setting, at least for the choral sounds
Chew that signal through an Eventide Space (ekospace-god preset), Mr. Black Supermoon, Strymon Deco, EHX Hazarai, the Walrus Arp & Jupiter, TU-2 & a Gamechanger Sustain pedal (off-camera, to the left side of the board) & I suppose it's in there somewhere
Likewise, the feedback toward the end seems to indicate that his playing is the source, but I thought it was a sample at first (even their drummer has a pedalboard!).

a friend of mine refers to stuff like this as 'pedalboard rock'. i'm not sure that description has ever been more accurate...

Sounds like bowed cymbals to me, maybe a prepared sample?

Doesn't look like the guitars have anything to do with it at all, seems like it's a sample that's looping. It start right after he stops messing with the synth, and than you can clearly see both guitarist strumming in way that doesn't match the rythm of the string-ish sounding track
