Help with Pladask Taken pedal please!

I am having trouble getting any pedal to work on the effects loop of the Taken pedal. I have plugged the chords every way possible, tried different power options and any pedal I plug in doesn’t work. All that comes through is a clean signal. Every then the delay doesn’t do anything, but as soon as I unplug the effects looped pedal the delay comes back. Any ideas, thoughts? I just received this new from them yesterday. It can’t be broken. I am sure I am doing something wrong.
