Not sure if you guys like bending and such but this guy kills it. Finding him and the ds-1 mod led me here eventually. Creative, self-taught, and inspiring.

As do I when I get the time, 80's toys are the best fun cause they already made weird noises.

For some reason I forgot to put this. Definitely the whole point of the thread. Need to stop smoking.

Why's it hard? Are the thrift stores in your area just totally picked over? I think one upside to living in a crappy place like HSV is there aren't that many people interested in dingy old electronic toys and tape recorders and stuff.
I haven't bent anything in a good while... components are too expensive to buy in town (i.e., at RATSHIT), and I just haven't had much tome to devote to it.

i've been like "stockpiling" toys and videogames and stuff for a while but teh actual circuit-bending? it has been a VERY slow going. right now i need a soldering iron, wire & a drill. but finding bends is not hard. it is pretty easy. you just need alligator clips.

Sadly this is true... My friend and go through them occasionally, but there isn't really anything short of buying something new to bend.
