...if he wouldn't just tease us with all his awesome designs and start selling them to us.

I want to build a super deluxe hollow earth with this LCD and other stuff. it will be made of wood. not because wood = mojo, but because I don't know how to cut squares in metal

An lcd hollow earth would be pretty sweet...it would actually be useful to be able to visualize the waveforms.

that's the deal. dunno about making these for others though, the LCD alone is $70, and that's the cheapest serial graphic LCD I could find.

I just want to see this in its completion. That would be pretty awesome.
also vibrato? :P

super long term project, so I'll be lucky if I finish it this year. I'm still tryign to wrap my head around this LCD and the multitasking I'll need to make the main CPU do.
I might look at the vibrato a little this weekend. to see if I can fix the two or three issues.

Super long-term projects make super results. I still don't get how you made it work for a pedal though, must have taken a decent amount of coding to get it to work.
Also,

not really, since the pedal I made it work for (hallow earth) already uses a microcontroller. it took abotu an hour to draw anything on screen, and another hour to sort of draw a waveform based on my input. of course there's a lot more work to do, like clearign the screen, updating the screen with a LFO playback "cursor", adding digits for the bank number, adding a small preview waveform of the next bank in the bottom-right.
the vibrato won't be so hard. I've kept it on breadboard all this time, and I'll probably end up using nearly the same PCB layout.

Excitement! That hollow earth is gonna be one piece of work when it comes out.

hey tape!
what would it take to get a hollow earth, but with a BPM feature, so we can set the cycle length to sync with drum machines...
i should just use volta, but it's a drag to use laptops on stage.
