Hi Team,
Anyone have both of these and can comment on their similarities and differences?
I have the Outward V2, have been GASsing for an IJ, but maybe they cover a lot of similar territory?
Let me know if you have feedback.

The difference is that they are two completely different effects. I hope that helps you out.

Hmm, I think I've definitely heard some overlap in the sounds they do, just wondering how extensive that is. Thanks for the feedback tho!

I got u dude. If you want more glitch and more options over the glitches... get the outward2 (I don't have one though... keep that in mind). I have an Infinite Jets. I'm a fan... it's not for everyone. I'm not a gigging musician though... otherwise some of the features they neglected would be unforgivable. There's only 2 glitch sections on it, and you don't have a ton of control of it. I think of Infinite Jets as more of an envelope shaper to be honest. The overlap you are thinking of is, again, only really in two sections of Infinite Jets.
Where the jets shines is when you add automation to the knobs, and bring everything together in a sequence. THAT SAID, it has no midi, so you either really need to keep track or... make a preset (but you only get two of those). Outward V2 has midi so that whole automation thing I was talking about with Infinite Jets can be achieved via that in the Outward V2. The Outward V2 is also less expensive and readily available at retailers... you can probably score one from a retailer with a coupon.
Based on the average review... I think you'll be happier with an Outward V2, if you score one on a sale, or a good used price.

Thanks Dude. I actually already own the Outward, and am considering getting and IJ too. I’m a home musician too so some of those missing feature bits you mentioned maybe wouldn’t be super problematic? What features are you referring to?

You got it buddy! I had more points of contention but off the top of my head
1. No dedicated volume knob. You can workaround it at home. You'll be fine. On a stage or whatever, I see it being problematic.
2. I am not going to lie... it cuts low end big time. Again, your home. Work with whatever EQ you have. I have this Hartke bass amp I run EVERYTHING through (Guitars, Synths, Drum machines, farts, etc.) It has two contour controls. It's fine. You can also add a Meatbox or something.
3. Not a huge deal, especially when I first got it but... now I really think it's a bummer there is no MIDI. I don't know. There is enough happening in the box though as is.
Where it REALLY excels is those two channels of infinite sustain (hence the name). If you already have an outward, why not try out this then? I'm looking at used prices now... even without hunting for a deal like I usually do.. you can score one for $300 (Outward V2 is still less when used). Kayzer's demo of the IJ picks up this thing I find endearing about it. The filter and synthier features sound really synthetic and almost motor sounding. Almost like, you can hear the pedal running. I actually like that!

For the record, I was making a joke but my ironic delivery needs some sharpening.
